I am basically from India but in Australia for the time being. if I take up an FL certificate at Australia it will be eligible for India. and what are rules to take online exams from home? thanks in advance. I have experience of 5 years in testing.

If by matric, you mean that she is studying in 10th grade, then it may be too early for her to take the ISTQB exam.

Most organizations look for 15 to 16 years of education when hiring a candidate. However, there are always exceptions. Some startup or small businesses may be willing to hire someone with 10 years of education if they see potential but this is rare. She would need at least 15 to 16 years of education if she wants to have a good career and opportunity to work in large organizations.

Just taking the ISTQB exam will not help get you a job. However, it does give you an additional advantage over other candidates.

If there are 50 candidates who apply for an entry level job, its easier to filter them by choosing to interview only those who have an ISTQB certification since they have shown a good understanding of the subject.

My sister wants to do the ISTQB, which am not sure about, she’s doing her matric now, do you recommend she do this or at least do another qualification first then this one thereafter, cause am not sure is one can get jobs with istqb alone, Please advice! and what would this mean for one’s future.

Hi everyone… I m working in back end process. But my education background is computer science. Now I want to do career in software testing… So this certificate is helpful for me???? Their are many levels in it…. And after completion of this certification ..how much I get package in India pune only…Please help me out
